From the Fischbachgut you can travel within 30 min. to 7 different lakes.

All lakes are located at the famous Salzburg lake district, the Salzkammergut. In the 20th century fox movie "The Sound of Music" staring Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer the Salzburg lake district was used for sceneries.

Outstanding locations in the "Salzkammergut", summer or winter, are the world cultural heritage town of Hallstatt, St. Wolfgang, Fuschl and Bad Ischl with the "Kaiservilla".

Furthermore there are many "off the beaten track" sites at the close surrounding of the Fischbachgut.
